LASD Homicide Detectives Responded at Lynwood to a Shooting Death Investigation

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting death of a man. The incident was reported Tuesday, July 7, at approximately 11:25 p.m. on the 12400 block of Long Beach Boulevard in the city of Lynwood.  

Deputies responded to a gunshot victim call. When they arrived, they found an man in the parking lot of a local business suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper torso.

The victim, male Hispanic 34 years-old, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

There’s no suspect information available at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
