Pumpkins grin mischievously, cobwebs adorn doorways, and the air is filled with whispers of spirits returning to share their stories. This October, join Downey Latino News for spine-chilling thrills and heartwarming traditions as we embrace both Halloween and Día de los Muertos!
Get ready for a frightfully fun experience at the Halloween Carnival in Bell Gardens, where game booths and costume contests await, or explore the Dia de Los Muertos Art Festival in Downey, where you can immerse yourself in cultural art and performances. With so many activities like the Halloween Spooktacular in Pico Rivera and the Pumpkin Patch in Downey, there’s no shortage of spooky fun and colorful celebration!
Halloween Events:
Trick or Treat on the BOO-levard
When: Oct. 25, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Where: 16730 Bellflower Blvd # A, Bellflower, CA 90706
The Bellflower Chamber of Commerce will host its 16th annual Trick or Treat on the BOO-levard event. Families can pick up a trick-or-treat map at the Chamber office, located at the northeast corner of Bellflower Boulevard and Flower Street, and take children ages 12 and under for business trick-or-treating from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Following trick-or-treating, the Chamber will offer carnival games, free train rides, music, and a costume contest at 6:30 p.m. This free event is open to children 12 and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Join the fun with costume contests, trick-or-treating, games, and more! Admission is free; some carnival games and food will have a small fee.

Enjoy a Creepy Crawl Maze, candy, games, and costume contests. Fun for the whole family!

Dia de Los Muertos Art Festival

Celebrate the vibrant traditions of Día de los Muertos with art displays, cultural performances, and community activities. Honor a loved one who has passed on at this year’s community altar.
Second Annual Dia de los Muertos
